BCSD Australia Mobility work group explores EV fleets

BCSD Australia's Mobility work group members continue work on a corporate collaborative electric vehicle (EV) fleet procurement model with a deep dive into energy and smart infrastructure needs. The IKEA-hosted workshop provided an up close view of an electric truck used for home delivery.

IKEA’s transport partner, ANC Logistics, is leading the charge of putting EVs into the retailer's truck fleet to help meet IKEA's zero-emission targets by 2025.

The BCSD Australia Mobility work group members are planning to collaborate on an EV procurement pilot next year to signal demand to the industry for EVs in Australia.
